Bon Voyage Steve Irwin

Conservation group Sea Shepherd chose BSE to repair their anti-whaling ship MV Steve Irwin, after a collision with a Japanese whaling ship in Antarctica caused damage to the vessel’s bow and hull.

BSE teams undertook both in-water and in-dock repair and refit projects, and after 4 months in port the ship departed Brisbane in October to spread its whaling conservation message to southern ports before once again taking on the Japanese whaling fleet.

According to Ben Baldwin, Manager of the Steve Irwin, “BSE have world-class facilities and consistently provide us with professionalism, reliability and quality in all aspects of their work.”

Bon voyage and best wishes for a safe journey to Ben and all onboard the Steve Irwin.
