The Cairns Slipways dockyard has a proud history of providing ship repair and maintenance services to the Royal Australian Navy. For more than 30 years, the Royal Australian Navy has utilised the Slipways’ extensive wharfage, in-water repair facilities, 1200 tonne main slipway, side slip, 60 meter dry dock and fully enclosed refit sheds. BSE Cairns Slipways is in close proximity to the HMAS Cairns naval base.
In Brisbane, BSE has the capabilities to dock vessels to 2500 tonnes lightship and 100 meters LOA. BSE Brisbane Slipways is located in the historic Cairncross marine precinct, adjacent to a panamax class graving dock and in the heart of Brisbane’s marine industry support services.

International clients come from Pacific Island nations and cities including Noumea, New Caledonia, Port Vila, Vanuatu, Suva, Fiji, Apia, Samoa, Tonga, Guam, Papua New Guinea, Marshall Islands, and Tahiti.
